It was the 1970’s, in Huntington Beach, California. There were three brothers that simply loved the Ice Cream man who would drive down their street. You probably just smiled as you heard the sound of the Ice Cream man that visited your neighborhood didn’t you?

Fast forward to 1996, the brothers got their hands on an Ice Cream truck. It didn’t take long for them to paint it up with fancy designs, bright colors and mount a 7-foot long replica of an Ice Cream Cone to the roof of the truck.

Someone from California Speedway, in nearby Fontana, California, noticed the brightly colored truck with the 7-foot long replica Ice Cream Cone on its roof. Within 6 months time, Archie’s Ice Cream truck was at California Speedway serving approximately 80,000 people that were attending a race at the track. Archie’s Ice Cream and California Speedway enjoyed a 7-year relationship and since the early 2000’s Archie’s has gone on to provide Ice Cream at thousands of events and music festivals in and around the greater Southern California area.

Shall we name-drop? How about Tom Jones, Robert Plant, The Beastie Boys, Roger Daltrey, Steven Spielberg, Guns N Roses just to name a few of the performers that have enjoyed Ice Cream served by the on-site and mobile catering trucks from Archie’s Ice Cream.
